Wrap Up 2019 with a Gift of Happiness for Sick Kids
During the holiday season, there are seriously ill children across the world who aren’t in the comfort of their home, but stuck in the hospital.
With your support, we can deliver some much-needed happiness to these kids. Through our programs, including Starlight Virtual Reality, Starlight Hospital Wear, and Starlight Gaming, we can entertain, distract, and bring joy to seriously ill children.
There are many ways to show your support:
Pay once, give twice. If you make your tax-deductible donation by midnight on December 31, our friends at Niagara Cares will match your donation!
Shop once, give twice. When you shop while logged in to Amazon Smile and choose Starlight as your charity of choice, a portion of your sales come back to us – at no additional cost to you.
Teach a lesson. Consider honoring a loved one with a gift donated in their name that will help another child. If you’re a parent, you can teach your child a lesson in generosity by donating the equivalent of the gaming station or toy given to your child this season.

Stock up. Give a gift of stock. Just like a regular donation, your donated stock comes with a tax receipt for 2019. Have a donor-advised fund? Talk to your investment advisor about the advantages of setting up and donating to Starlight through a fund.
Work it. Ask your employer about an employer-matching program. It’s another way to double your impact.
Go big. Sponsor a hospital! Looking to make a major gift? You can bring Starlight programs to children in your community. Use our handy online tool to see what your local hospital needs.
Make it last. A monthly recurring donation means you’re helping Starlight kids all year long.
