Starlight and WowWee Make a Splash at LAC+USC Kidz Health Fair
The Baby Shark song rang through the hallways of the LAC+USC Medical Center this past weekend. The lovable shark and his sidekick, Pinkfong, made a major splash during the 6th annual LAC+USC Kidz Health Fair. The Kidz Health Fair is a day filled with games, prizes, and more that is free to kids and their families.
In past years, Starlight has had a booth at the fair, but this year was extra special as we teamed up with WowWee Toys to surprise the kids with toys and visits from Baby Shark and Pinkfong! For the children who couldn’t leave their hospital room to come down to the fun, we made sure to visit them as well. Baby Shark and Pinkfong brought lots of smiles and happiness to the kids all day long.

Can you feel the excitement?!
After spending some time outside at the fair, Pinkfong, Baby Shark and some of Starlight’s awesome ambassadors, including Serena Laurel, Connor Dean, Jax Malcolm, and Aedin
Minks, went into the hospital to visit some of the patients.
No matter the age, Baby Shark and Pinkfong were able to deliver smiles and happiness to so many kids.
After stopping by the pediatric playroom and several patients’ rooms, we headed back outside to finish the day at the fair with dancing, awesome performances and more.
From start to finish, the Kidz Health Fair was a day filled with lots of smiles! The Starlight team can’t wait for next year’s event.
