Give Happiness This Holiday Season
Seriously ill kids across the country are stuck in the hospital this holiday season, away from the comfort of their own home and missing out on time with family.
Hospital stays can be boring, especially with visitations limited and playrooms closed due to COVID-19. Throughout this unusual year, we have heard how much our hospital partners appreciate Starlight Gaming stations and Starlight Deliveries during this difficult time.
We can work together to deliver happiness to hospitalized kids who have faced an unprecedented year with COVID-19.
There are so many ways to help:
Give! Just $25 can deliver happiness to 25 seriously ill kids.
Become a Shining Star! When you give monthly you can make an even bigger impact on seriously ill kids stuck in the hospital during the holidays.
Support our second-annual 12 Days of Streaming campaign from December 1-12! From cooking streams to video games, there’s something for everyone.
Fundraise your way. Start a fundraiser to share Starlight’s mission with your family and friends. You can even fundraise on Facebook!
Shop gifts that give back to Starlight! With stocking stuffers, toys, and bottles of rosé, there’s something for everyone on your list.

Your support can help give more state-of-the-art programs, like the brand-new Starlight Nintendo Switch Gaming station, to hospitalized kids who need it more than ever.
"Starlight Gaming [stations] have helped us in ways we could have never imagined. Patients can lose them selves in video games, get transported to another world, take on a new identity far removed from the confines of their hospital room and strict isolation guidelines,” said Tracy Reyes, Child Life Specialist at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital.
You are also providing Deliveries when they’re needed most. A toy, game, or book can bring a smile to a child’s face—and are sometimes the only things they have in the hospital.
“Being in the hospital can sometimes be difficult for kids and families, especially around the holidays. The toys will be great to use for BINGO prizes and gifts for patients throughout the year. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are greatly appreciated,” said Pat Kirkland, Manager Family Support Services at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
From all of us at Starlight, thank you for giving happiness to seriously ill kids. Have the happiest of holiday seasons!
