Child Life Team at AdventHealth Orlando Named Starlight's Golden Hero
In celebration of Starlight’s 40th anniversary, we are shining the spotlight on the hospital partners, individuals, and families we work with year-round to fulfill our mission – delivering happiness to seriously ill kids and their families.
Starlight is grateful to honor the Child Life Team at AdventHealth Orlando with the Golden Hero Award. Through our 15 years of partnership, we have worked closely with their Child Life team to bring moments of comfort and joy to their pediatric patients through Starlight programs, with the facility receiving almost 20,000 toys, books, Gaming Stations, and other items from Starlight during this time.
Throughout the years, AdventHealth Orlando and their Child Life Team have been a part of Starlight’s key moments, like the launch of Starlight Gowns with interactive QR codes and announcing Starlight Virtual Reality. Their support and collaboration have helped us further our mission and enabled us to see firsthand the impact that Starlight programs have on seriously ill kids.
