Celebrating the Bitterman Family with Starlight's Happiness Hero Award
As Starlight celebrates our 40th anniversary, we are turning the spotlight on the incredible supporters, hospitals, and partners that enable us to fulfill our mission – delivering happiness to seriously ill kids and their families.
Starlight is honored to recognize the amazing impact of longtime Starlight supporters, the Bitterman family, and honor them as our Happiness Heroes. Since 2020, the Bitterman family has sponsored Starlight programs for5 hospitals, personally ensuring that thousands of kids experience moments of joy. With each donation being made in honor of their grandchildren, their commitment to giving back is a family affair!
Donating almost $40,000 in the last few years, the Wood-Bitterman Charitable Lead Trust has sponsored hospitals including Shriners’ Children’s Portland and Children’s Hospital of Atlanta Scottish Rite. The passionate members of the Bitterman family continue to provide resources to fund even more Starlight programs to hospitals, and we are so grateful for their ongoing investment in our mission to deliver happiness to sick kids.
