Celebrating Back-to-School with Children's Clinics

Last month, Starlight joined Children’s Clinics in Tucson, Arizona to celebrate the start of the new school year with their patients. Starlight has been a longtime partner with Children’s Clinics, which provide a family-centered comprehensive medical home to provide for the needs of over 5,800 children and families living with complex medical conditions.  

As part of their programming, they always look to celebrate key moments of childhood, like heading back to school, Starlight was honored to participate in the celebration by delivering books, Starlight’s “My Activity” workbooks, and more.  

These types of deliveries can play an important role for these families because caring for a child with a complex medical condition adds extra expenses, making it harder for families to afford their everyday needs – which is exactly why Starlight launched Starlight Education. 

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, and Starlight Education is focused on providing educational resources to seriously ill kids so they can grow and learn while they manage their illness and/or injury.  

While we can’t change a child’s diagnosis or situation, we can provide the tools and resources to help them through their challenges. But we need donors like you to do this important work.
